In high school I read Abbott's "Flatland". This romance about multiple dimensions has made me want to discover more of what there is to know about the nature of the world. As "Beyond the Center" may suggest, I think there may be the possibility of knowing, into a new dimension, so to speak. I would liken it to going beyond the center of a black hole and into a new universe.

Here begins an attempt to follow the lead of my daughter, Christy, in having a blog site. I'm doing it to try to keep up with our culture and also to get some experience that I might use to help my sister, Dee, who is trying to found a blog site for her fifth grade composition classes.
